Self-Care Sunday

Many of us have been spending a lot more time at home over the past year. We have been doing a lot of zoom calls and lounging in our favorite sweats. Our limited contact with the world and canceled plans have required us to pay even closer attention to how we are caring for ourselves. We have also had to get a little creative with our at home self-care. Here are a few of our tried and true self-care tips:


Getting Dressed Up Just Because

We’ve all heard the phrase when you look good you feel good and we all keep saying it because it’s true. While your go-to pajama pants have their place, sometimes it’s nice to get dressed in that outfit that makes you feel amazing, even if you aren’t going anywhere. Go find your favorite pair of jeans hiding at the back of you closest and start building your look. Once you’ve got your favorite outfit, grab your go to make up products that you haven’t used in months and throw some on. Believe me, you’ll feel like a new person. You can even accessorize a bit. Bring the Spa Home

Who say’s you can’t have your very own spa at home. By adding a few things you can turn an ordinary bath into your own relaxing getaway. Adding a couple house plants to your bathroom can create a new look and even improve air quality. Use  this list to find the house plant that best suits you and your space. Take a Walk

Finally, get outside. You might be tired of hearing this piece of self-care advice, but just like the other two tips, we all keep saying it because it works. We are getting to that time of year where the sun is starting to shine a little brighter again, and even just a few minutes outside can change the way you feel about your day. Maybe you are even lucky enough to live somewhere warm so you can take your walk in your favorite Deux Mains sandals.
